Since 1987, the Infectious Diseases in Children Symposium has educated more than 9,000 physicians, nurses and administrators. The tradition continues this year with program sessions designed to enhance your learning experience.

At the conclusion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

Recognize appropriate workups for diagnosis in children
and adolescents.
Evaluate and develop an effective treatment plan for
children and adolescents.
Establish effective vaccination program for children and adolescents in practice.
Demonstrate understanding of applicable and most recent American Academy of Pediatrics policy statements and
clinical practice guidelines pertaining to these issues.
